I know I am cheap when:
- I buy an i-pod from a pawn shop that looks like it was the very first i-pod made
- I rent movies from Top Hat and 3D video where movies cost a dollar
- I shop at the DI for "new clothes"
- I only buy things when they are on sale, otherwise it doesn't catch my attention
- I look for the clothes that have torn seams or tears and then ask for a discount
I know I am successful when:
- I wake up at 3:30 am for work and I don't feel tired
- I get up early to clean on my days off, I usually sleep in late those days!
- I get all my errands done within 2 hours!
- I am really busy at work and still have time to take a break to go to an exercise class
- My little sister Cherisse is sassier than me, she learned well!
- I make a new friend at work!
- I can't stand up so easily because of the pain in my back
- I'm frantically looking for my keys and they are in my pocket
- I'm always tired from lack of sleep or over sleeping
- I forget what I said that was so funny in the conversation I had 20 minutes ago!
- Ryan points out that I have many silver hairs
- I go grocery shopping and I totally pull something my mom would've done!
- He gives me a back massage even though he just got home from work and is exhausted
- He gets excited to cook me a special dinner and won't tell me what it is because he wants to surprise me
- I wake up and he's holding at me, smiling and says "You look so beautiful."
- He takes me clothes shopping and is very patient while I try on different outfits and gives his honest opinion with each outfit
- I'm in a sour mood and he is patient and sweet with me even if I'm being unreasonable, because he knows he can soften my mood, even if it takes all day!
- He'll text me when I'm at work just to say "I Love You." or "I can't wait to see you at home."
- He gets excited for Monday's and Tuesday's (my days off) when I take him lunch at work and he gets sad when its time for me to leave.
- He takes me to the chick flicks I really want to see, and doesn't complain if it turns out being lame.
