Good Boy

Today is my 22nd birthday. It doesn't feel like it's my birthday at all. It almost feels like any other day. I went to work, I even had to go to the dentist. I did get to go out on a lovely date with Ryan before he went to work.

We watched the new Pirates movie, had dinner and also looked around at the Clark Planetarium. He had to go to work tonight otherwise we would have done other things together as well.

Scout found a home today. He was adopted by a woman who has a big yard and a friend for him to play with. He was really excited and I am so happy for him. What a wonderful gift today!

On the way to take him to the shelter to meet his new mom; I started getting a bit teary eyed. Even though he's been a lot of hard work (we are used to a dog that is trained and so we had to put in a lot more effort with him) he was a sweetheart. He touched my heart and I will miss him.

He now has a new family and a new friend. I am overjoyed I was able to help him in this process. Good luck Scout. You're a good boy.
